Why we need obstacles to create a clearer path

People everywhere are finding ways to cope with quarantine and the threat of COVID-19. Some have fled for the hills. Others have hunkered down for the long haul. But the most cost-effective and psychologically reliable response is humor.
Did you hear about the bank robbery? The tellers were relieved to learn that the guys wearing masks had only come in to hold up the place.
Finally, the world has become introvert-friendly. No events. No small-talk. Everyone keeping their distance.
Day-2 without sports: man discovers a woman sitting next to him on the couch. Apparently, she’s his wife. She seems nice.
As for me, I’ve been able to draw on personal experience. You see, I have been here before. This is not my first quarantine.
