Is ignorance bliss?

You can only see a little through a keyhole.

But what if you aren't looking through the keyhole? What if you aren't even looking for the keyhole? What if you don't even notice the door?

Rabbi Noach Weinberg once observed, "Nothing is more irrelevant than an answer to a question that has not been asked."

It's true that ignorance can be bliss. But it also condemns us to living two-dimensional lives, hiding from a reality that can fill our minds with light, our hearts with gladness, and our souls with love that can only be felt by those who seek the truth.
