But it doesn't matter. Because he might be just what this country needs.
Our two-party system has failed us repeatedly by presenting us with two equally unpalatable candidates and demanding that we choose between them.
There’s good reason to believe that the country is ready for a spoiler, and the moment is ripe for an out-of-the-box candidate who can convince the majority of clear-thinking Americans that he or she has a shot at overturning the status quo.
That’s why it may not matter whether or not Kanye West can actually win. Because what we really need is a symbol of rebellion.
