Why does #Chanukah come at the darkest time of year?

The darker it gets, the less light we need to make a difference.

We all go through difficult times, as individuals and as a community. Watch for the little sparks of light that ignite fleeting moments of hope and joy. The more moments of joy you notice, the more you will notice, like the lights of the menorah increasing day by day, from one lonely light to a pyrotechnic array.

Joy is all around us. Only through darkness can we appreciate the light.
