My first quarantine
This is not my first quarantine.
Maybe things have changed, but back then Israeli hospitals bore little resemblance to American hospitals.
Space was always at a premium, and even a privacy curtain around your bed was an unexpected luxury.
But within moments of being examined by the attending physician, I found myself sheltered in place -- in the most unexpected of places, a private room.
The next thing I knew I was in #quarantine.
I didn’t even have Netflix. Or Zoom.
