Real life miracles

When's the last time your eyes teared up watching 60 Minutes?
That's what happened to me during last night's episode about medical miracles. The first segment told the story of a revolutionary treatment saving patients from the agony of sickle cell anemia. The second showed how medicine distilled from hallucinogenic mushrooms is restoring quality of life to patients with crippling diagnoses. The third told the story of NYU medical school going tuition-free to remove the burden of debt from young doctors.
I wonder if the producers knew it was the last night of Chanukah, the culmination of the festival celebrating how one spark of light can spread to overcome the darkness, and how ordinary people can become the conduit for miracles by doing what others think impossible.
What are you doing to let your light shine?
